To get a view of the inside of an alligator, Jason McDonald wrestled with one at the Colorado Gator Farm, pulling one out from the water and using his own chin to hold the alligator’s mouth open.

He recorded the whole thing on a GoPro that was attached to his own head, and another camera recorded his feat from a wider angle, where he shows off how he keeps the alligator’s mouth open with no hands.

McDonald, a funeral home worker, has been wrestling with gators for 10 years. He has moved up from taking classes at the gator farm to teaching them, and spends most of his weekends there.

“Because of gator wrestling I have been fortunate enough to meet and become friends with some very cool people and go on more adventures,” McDonald wrote in his online profile. “I am a thrill seeking adrenaline junkie who loves to noodle big catfish and walk a slackline.”

This isn’t the only daring alligator video McDonald has made. Last year, he recorded himself placing his hand on the tongue of an alligator before quickly withdrawing it, right before the animal shut its jaw.
