Fender Executive Felt Serene From Watching Shen Yun
Mark Robinson, a global logistics and distribution VP at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, and Peg Nelson, a realtor, enjoyed the Shen Yun performance at the Orpheum Theater in Phoenix, Ariz., on Feb. 22, 2018. "The ladies when they dance, and the men when they do the backflips, it was all very graceful," said Ms. Nelson. (Sunny Chen/The Epoch Times)

“It was beautiful. I liked the precision. I liked all the colors. I liked the interpretation from the dance. It was very good. I enjoyed it.”

“I liked the [vignette with the long] sleeves. ... I [felt] serene, because it just felt relaxing, and it was very beautiful to watch.”

“I'd seen some of the pictures before, but seeing it in person was a lot to see, a lot to take in. Plus watching the back screen, how they incorporated the video into the performance, and then you could see people pop up from behind the screen, that was interesting.”

“It was good that [the emcees] came out and told us what [the next vignette] was going to be, and then you could see the story happening, so that was good. I enjoyed it.”

“It was good to hear the background [of Chinese culture] and understand where it came from, and then the different dance styles.”
