NEW YORK—Fabio Cucina Italiana, a new Italian culinary in Midtown East, will open on Feb. 5.

Chef Fabio Hakill’s menu features homemade pasta made from locally sourced ingredients.

Signature dishes include Fettuccine alla Fabio, made at your table by Chef Fabio with porcini mushrooms and a delicate sauce that enhances the woody taste of the mushroom; and Risotta Crema di Scampi, which features the freshest fish and lightest of creams.

Upon request, Chef Fabio will personally prepare any dish for a guest—even if it’s not on the menu.

And if a customer is desiring a wine that is not a part of the 64 offerings, customers are welcome to bring their own for an additional corking fee.

Fabio Cucina Italiana is owned by Fabio Hakill, an internationally trained chef who honed his culinary skills in Rome, at Il Caminetto.

He moved to New York City in 1994 where he cooked in the kitchens of Park Side Restaurant, Piccolino, and finally as a partner and chef in Midtown.

Fabio Cucina Italiana seats 90.
