The Selected Photographs Exhibition of the 2007 Epoch Times International Photography Competition (2007 ETIPC) will be held at Confucius Plaza, Community Room, 33 Bowery, New York City from February 28 to March 1. The exhibition will display some of the finalists and winning pieces of the photography competition. 

The 2007 ETIPC, which started in 2007 and ended in 2008, received over 13.5 thousand competing works from over 60 countries in 3 categories of life in different societies, nature, and people. The participants, consisting of both professional and amateur photographers, were from different nationalities spanning 5 continents. Judges selected 145 of them as the finalists in the competition.

Capture and Eternalize the Moment

A good picture can convey the thoughts of the photographer without having to use a single word. The selected photos exhibition of the 2007 ETIPC aims to revive the traditional aesthetic values, to reflect facts, and to eternalize the captured moments. The exhibition provides an opportunity to photographers of all levels for sharing and displaying their work.

The Epoch Times has already started accepting applications and photo submissions for the 2009 Epoch Times International Photography Competition (2009 ETIPC). The deadline for submission is March 31, 2009. We cordially invite photographers from any background to participate.
