TAINAN, Taiwan—Mr. Shen Mulin, Chairman of I-Tek Metal Manufacturing Co., accompanied by his wife, watched Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s show at Tainan Municipal Cultural Center on April 15. This was the third time that Mr. Shen has seen the show. He said, “[Shen Yun] has promoted my artistic comprehension and broadened my horizons.”
Mrs. Shen enjoyed the hundreds of hand-made costumes that she described as being “very colorful and bright.”
Mr. Shen said the choreography has undertaken continuous evolution in the three shows he has attended, and the all-new program each year draws many audience members back. He spoke highly of the performance, saying, “Shen Yun promotes the spirit of ‘Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance’, which I consider to be excellent. Shen Yun’s objective to pass down Chinese culture is highly respectable too.”
Mr. Shen was particularly impressed by Our Story. He explained, “Wicked people are punished by divine beings eventually. It denotes that good will be rewarded with good.”
Mrs. Shen, herself the President of I-Tek, and a business partner with her husband, said, “The show is just beautiful. It interprets Chinese culture through an exquisite artistic presentation. You can experience various forms of beauty—dynamics as well as stillness, and masculinity as well as tenderness.”
Mr. and Mrs. Shen were both touched by the perfect coupling of mightiness and delicacy in the program Heading on the Grasslands. “There is delicacy inside the mightiness, and mightiness inside the delicacy,” Mrs. Shen said.
