TAINAN, Taiwan—Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s third show in Tainan on the evening of April 14, attracted a full-house audience. Among the audience were Ms. Dai Meiho, the Chairwoman of Tainan City Embroidery Association, and eight of her friends.
After seeing the show, Ms. Dai said, “I could not take my eyes off the stage for the entire show. Also, the lyrics [of the songs] displayed on the backdrop were awesome and significantly awakening. It was very moving and so wonderful!”
Ms. Dai said she sees Shen Yun in Tainan with friends every year. “This year, Mr. Su Chiumu, President of Tainan Elite Club, offered the tickets to us. The entire program was brightly colorful and it left a magnificent impression on us,” Ms. Dai noted.
In describing the performers’ costumes, Ms. Dai said they were “very creative and beautiful.” She particularly enjoyed the program Plum Blossom, in which dancers use decorative fans to form the shape of plum blossom flowers in a beautiful spectacle. She said, “It was fascinating and graceful.”
As the Shen Yun production is currently touring in Taiwan, Ms. Dai sincerely hoped that more people would have the opportunity to see the performance. She mentioned that she has had discussions with various social clubs on how more people could see the show.
Ms. Dai is the incumbent President of Tainan City Animal Protection Association and Vice Chairwoman of Tainan City Industry and Commerce Elite Club. She is also the founder of S.M.T. Decorative Materials Company, a popular DIY handcrafts store in Tainan City.
