One way to help cut down on your daily consumption of calories is by preparing a large dish of vegetables. Store them in the fridge and snack on them when hungry for a snack. Having ready-made vegetables is also a good way to ensure you will eat them when you need to be quick about preparing a meal, or when you are feeling a bit lazy.

To accompany the batch of steamed vegetables, prepare a variety of dressings or have some hummus on hand. Just be cautious of not overdoing it with the hummus or dressing. If you are really hungry prepare something more substantial to accompany the vegetables so that you’re not driven to fill up on condiments.

These quick and easy to prepare dressings go great on salads and steamed veggies. Prepare ahead of time to help you when you need to reach for a quick snack.
