One way to help cut down on your daily consumption of calories is by preparing a large dish of vegetables. Store them in the fridge and snack on them when you’re hungry. Having ready-made vegetables is also handy when you need to be quick about preparing a meal, or when you are feeling a bit lazy.

To accompany the batch of steamed or raw vegetables, prepare a variety of dressings or have some hummus on hand. Just be cautious not to overdo it with the hummus or dressing. If you are extra hungry, prepare something more substantial to accompany the vegetables so that you’re not driven to fill up on condiments.

These quick and easy-to-prepare dressings go great on both salads and steamed or raw veggies. Prepare ahead of time so that they’re ready when needed.
