If you are looking for a scenic drive fill up your tank and take a drive to Haleakala National Park on the island of Maui. It is home to islands’ highest peak. Driving the two line paved road up to over 10 000 foot summit. It is a journey in itself. Drive from Kahului to the summit takes about one hour and half and during the drive you pass through variety ecological zones as you experience awesome scenic views. Many people come to the summit to see the sunrise over Haleakala crater. What ever time of day you make the drive take the time to enjoy the views especial when you reach the top. It is once a life visit and the island landscape just may take your breath away.
