TAIPEI, Taiwan—The final Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour performance in Taipei on March 2 attracted Sam Shengjie Lee, a pop star in Taiwan.

The “love song prince” was touched by the DPA program The Udumbara’s Bloom. He said that there was “a wordless spirituality that manifested itself through movements and gestures.”

Before singing, Mr. Lee was a tennis player who represented Taiwan in competitions around the world. Currently, his “Absolutely Love, Put Down the Hand” has stayed in the top three in KTV for three consecutive years. “Absolute Infatuation” is now the top of KTV.

“DPA made people feel that music and body movements didn’t need words—a kind of spiritual manifestation.

“Why was this type of spirituality so touching? Because the show was made with dedication. So many people were trying to convey the same message. It was an experience.

“I think that many things need to be pure and true for them to be touching; same with music.”

Mr. Lee said that he would love to come to the show again next year.
