TAIPEI, Taiwan—Cai Yuchen, a renowned television host in Taiwan and a senior worker in the media, ended up in tears after viewing the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) show at Taipei International Convention Center on February 26.

“Divine Performing Arts’ overall beauty was flawless. I was touched to tears,” said Ms. Cai, who first heard about DPA from a friend in Taichung.

Ms. Cai, who loves dance events, said that DPA’s overall combination of China’s five-millennia-old civilization, display of inner spirituality and liveliness, were worth praising. It contains culture, history, music, dance, beliefs, and life. It’s very rich.

She also loved the backdrops as they were “modern” and “vivid.” She said that DPA was not quite the same as other traditional arts performances. Usually they were very old-fashioned and simple, yet DPA was a blend of dancers, stage, backdrops, modernity, tradition and technology.

“It’s beautiful to the extent that I want to slim myself down and wear those stylish costumes like the dancers on stage,” she said with a laugh.

DPA is said to bring hope and renaissance to authentic culture for mankind. Ms. Cai said, “Today’s society truly needs such power. This power can make everyone have the guts to face many problems.”
