TAIPEI, Taiwan— Ms. Lin Qingliang, who is serving her 6th consecutive term as a councillor of Taiwan’s Keelung City, went to the Taipei International Convention Center on the evening of March 2 to see Divine Performing Arts’ (DPA) performance.
All of the eight DPA performances staged in Taipei had played to packed houses and Ms Lin praised the DPA saying she hoped it would return more often so that every Taiwanese could see the fabulous performance.
”The entire show, especially the collation of backdrops and the live dance performers in the front, brings genuine arts to the audience. You can relax and sit there, watching the performance quietly and digesting the content blended in the show. This is a very good performance,” she said.
Ms. Lin commented that what the DPA performance delivered was not only artistic beauty but also inner meaning. She said that this had strengthened the audience’s engagement with the show. The strength exhibited by the male performers and the tenderness shown by female performers let the audience feel true artistic beauty.
Referring to the enlightenment she obtained when watching the last dancing program Knowing the True Picture Offers Ultimate Hope, Ms. Lin said, “The performance truly blends truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. It suggests that we have to acknowledge our own inner spirit and speak out bravely so that we can face our lives courageously and make our society calm and peaceful.”
