SAN FRANCISCO—The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) four day, seven show run at the San Francisco’s historic War Memorial Opera House has successfully concluded.

Of many in attendance at Sunday’s DPA performance was Dr. Allen the president, CEO and founder of a successful Bay area technology company.

Dr. Allen came to know about the DPA Chinese New Year Spectacular through an advertisement while attending a different show at the Opera House and decided to take his wife, children and Mr. George, his company’s board chairman.

Mr. George proclaimed, “The colors ... everything. We’ve really enjoyed it!”

After the show, Dr. Allen’s children were very excited at the VIP reception when they got a chance to meet the performers of DPA and began to mimic the graceful spins that they saw on stage. Dr. Allen said, “The six-year-old did fantastic—they both really enjoyed it.”

When asked about his impression of the show, Dr. Allen said, “Absolutely beautiful costumes—that stood out the most to me. Fantastic backdrops—well choreographed with lots of people in the dances, it was just a beautiful production.”

He also commented on his favorite performance by stating, “One of the favorites was the spring piece—with the big flowers that opened up—that was a neat one.”

The Coming of Spring is a delicate dance that depicts the joy and beauty of spring flowers.

Dr. Allen’s guest, Mr. George has been an executive for several technology companies, in addition to serving on many public and private company boards. One of his technology companies sold for hundreds of millions of dollars.

Mr. George, who has been involved with China since the mid 60’s, greatly appreciated the show and thanked New Tang Dynasty TV for presenting the DPA Chinese New Year Spectacular in San Francisco.

It was the first time he had seen the Divine Performing Arts show. “We enjoyed the show very, very much and really appreciate [DPA] doing the production and bringing it here—its been terrific. Thank you.”

The colors and large choreography coupled with impeccable classical dance movements and synchronicity between each dancer and the whole, provides a phenomenal experience. He said, “We particularly enjoyed the group dancing—the group performance we thought were fabulous. The colors ... everything. We really enjoyed it!”
