On the day after Christmas in the scenic city of San Diego, Divine Performing Arts made its West Coast debut in Civic Theater. The night was cool but the audience’s response was warm and enthusiastic.
Divine Performing Arts (DPA) is a collaboration of leading artists from around the world that seek to breathe new life into traditional Chinese culture and to provide an experience of sublime beauty.
Based in New York, DPA is a nonprofit organization that is consciously independent of China’s communist regime, under which the traditional arts have suffered for decades.
