PHILADELPHIA—Lynn Marbarock was a little weary the afternoon before the show. She lives in the suburbs and was apprehensive about the long drive back from the city.

“I thought, ‘Oh dear … and we are going to Philadelphia,’” she said. But after she and her husband saw the Divine Performing Arts show on Saturday afternoon, she found that the drive was well worth it—and that she was no longer tired.

“It just revived me. It is just wonderful, in every way. To see 20 to 30 dancers at a time all perform with grace, beauty, and exquisite steps.”

Ms. Marbarock was struck by the spiritual elements in the show. “You know, I was reading the words that the ladies and gentleman were singing. It was so beautifully spiritual, which my husband and I enjoyed. … Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain for us was really extraordinary, extremely meaningful.”

She used to dance years ago, and was fully appreciative of the art form shown onstage. “And it’s a lot of hard work to be able to perform in the quality that you want, and to do all the steps to the music,” she said.

“I think it is wonderful, absolutely superb. The dancers are extraordinary. The music is pretty. The costumes are exquisite. And the background … is lovely. The whole show has been absolutely extraordinary. I really enjoyed it.”
