PASADENA, Calif.—The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company performed at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 4 as part of their 2009 World Tour.

Ms. Fehervari has worked in theatrical make up and hair design for over 16 years and she loved the show.

“It is fabulous, it’s wonderful, it’s beautiful, perfect, it is very good, wonderful. The costumes, the make up, the hair, everything is absolutely beautiful.

“It is unique because it is insightful to the culture and the Buddhist ideas, which was new to me. I liked the stories they were interesting to me. The one about the modern Chinese family heritage and meditation that was very interesting. The poet one was fun. He was inspired by his deluge of drinking and he thought it was very good so he wrote it down.”

Her husband, Mr. Smith, studying to be an accountant, attended the DPA performance with Ms. Fehervari. “I really liked the costumes,“ he said. ”I always like the live orchestra. My wife and I love the theater. I like it, it is fun. My favorite part was ‘Snow Covered Mountain’ [Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountains] .”
