PASADENA, Calif.—Ms. Cruz, a newspaper executive from Pomona, attended the Saturday night performance of Divine Performing Arts (DPA) in the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and loved every minute of it saying, “I’m excited to be here, and I’m enjoying every part of it.”

When asked which was her favorite performance she replied, “My favorite was the soloist [Yang Xi], the gentleman that sang. He was wonderful. Apart from that, the long sleeved dance [Flowing Sleeves] was really nice too.”

The DPA performances of traditional Chinese dance and those of Chinese legends left Ms. Cruz wishing she could visit traditional China [during a time in the past when China still has its traditions, which differs greatly from present-day communist-controlled China, in which the communist regime has done its best to destroy traditional Chinese culture and values]. “I’m really excited, and I’m glad that I’m here today to see all the traditional culture and all the traditional dancers.”
