LONDON—Mr. Hattink, a hedge fund manager and his friend Ms. Li, a yoga teacher and native of Hong Kong, were among the appreciative audience members on Wednesday at the New London Theatre, the venue for the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) show.

Londoners were treated to a Chinese traditional cultural show that brought ancient folk and ethnic traditions to the West.

The audience showed its appreciation through applause during each scene and standing ovations before the conclusion of the third London DPA performance.

Mr. Hattink was impressed with the state-of-the-art backdrops that gave a glimpse of celestial maidens, beautiful Chinese villages, and the countryside.

Mr. Hattnik was quite taken with the choreography.

He was pleased with everything that was shown on stage.

All he could say in admiration, “The music, the flow—the colours.”

Ms. Li liked the Tibetan dance Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain, and said “I really enjoyed the dancing.”

Another scene that caught her eye was the dance Dragon Springs Drummers. The buoyant, fun-loving spirit of China’s indigenous folk culture comes to life with an irresistible beat and demanding aerial work.

I liked “the drumming as well. I thought that was great,” she said.

“The costumes are beautiful.”
