SEOUL, South Korea—Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour consummated its six and final show at the Universal Arts Center in Seoul on February 8.

Among the audience was Sang-Ryong Han, a professor in the hotel management faculty of Far East University.

“This is absolutely a world-class performance. The rhythms are harmonious, natural, smooth  and meaningful. I think this is a rich sightseeing resource in this internationalized era, because the root of Chinese culture and Korean culture is relevant. So the understanding and feeling for Korean
people [of the show] is different from the people anywhere else.”

Mr. Han is also a hotel general manager with 34 years of experience. He said that promoting DPA is a good idea to attract lots of tourists.

He applauded The Poet’s Vision, a scene portraying Li Bai, one of China’s most famous poets of the Tang Dynasty (618AD-907AD), because of his interest in ancient literature.

“This show cannot be recreated even if anyone intends to do it. It is just naturally harmonized. Whether the costumes or the colors, they are very touched. It is extremely moving to see the gods dancing along with the gods.”

”In terms of the cultural content, at this point in this world, it is time for us to find the commonality of cultures. The DPA is a pride for mankind. It transcends all  races and nationalities.

“Since Chinese culture links with Korean culture. We are also very proud of it. In my future business activities, I think I will get rid of the concept  that I’ve always had. I will not just limit my business to hotels and accommodations. I will also focus on promoting arts.”
