CUPERTINO, Calif.—Mr. and Mrs. Byraes were among the audience members Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Flint Center to see the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) Chinese New Year Spectacular.

Mr. and Mrs. Byraes were captivated by what they experienced, they were aware of, and they recognized the importance of the spiritual messages in the performances. Mr. Byraes, a media broker, said, “It was such a thrill and such an honor to see such grace along with strength, and it was a great harmonious blend of mind, body, and spirit.”

Mrs. Byraes added, “We enjoyed the messages that each of the dances shows and in particular the spirituality that was pretty prominent throughout. It was excellent … especially, in these times, it was very good … it was deep.

“There is such a diversity within your culture too ... so many regions and so many lifestyles. It was just an honor to be here.”

Mr. Byraes continued, “It reminded us of how beautiful the world can be … but so enjoyable and so entertaining.”

Together they said, “We really enjoyed it. Happy New Year everybody.”

Mrs. Byraes was entranced by the breathtaking digital backdrops. She said, “I loved the backdrop and where the people came out from behind. We enjoyed it totally—it was a great surprise and beautiful presentation. We'll see you next year.”

Also at the performance was Dr. Adamovics and his wife, who were originally from Riga, Lativa.

Dr. Adamovics danced Latvian folk dance for many years and is now a pharmocologist, and his wife was a Theater decorator in Riga and is now a painter.

“Interesting, haven’t seen anything like that before,“ said Dr. Adamovics, ”I Haven’t seen anything as spectacular. It is a fantastic show.”
