CHICAGO—Mr. Ceaser, president and CEO of a communication company was shopping in a supermarket with his wife when they saw a ticket-selling booth for the DPA 2009 World Tour performance. They are both very familiar with Chinese performances and bought tickets right away—both thrilled to come to another show.

After watching the performance at Chicago’s Civic Opera House on Sunday, Mr. Ceaser was impressed by the techniques and the “precision” of the dances, which he described as “pin-point and accurate.”

“One of the moves I like is when they are raising up slightly and lowering themselves and it looks like the wind is blowing them. So the precision is fantastic and the expressions on their faces—you could tell they really enjoyed what they were doing.”

He felt the music had a contemporary blend that was very refreshing, and did a good job of blending the old and the new and appealed to everyone in the audience.

He also noted that the visual effects were amazing, especially in the performance “Persecuted on a Sacred Path”, where a man ascends to heaven after he is tortured to death for his belief in Falun Gong. He said he was really moved by seeing the “angels coming down and going back up again.”

“You can see the significance and the universal message it conveys,” he said.

Mrs. Ceaser said that she found the colors very beautiful, and identified the “Persecuted on a Sacred Path” performance as her favorite piece.

“Even with evil they still look towards heaven” she said.
