TAIPEI, Taiwan—Zheng Baoqing, called the ‘Miracle of Taiwan Salt,’ is former chairman of Taiwan Salt Industrial Corporation. He became a successful entrepreneur after he led an active political life as a representative of the people in Taiwan. One of the reasons for his success has been creativity. Yet after watching Divine Performing Arts (DPA) with his wife on March 1, he repeatedly said, “The show was full of creativity. It surprised people.”
Currently Zheng is the chairman of Health Biotech Co., Ltd., and serves as chairman of many biotech companies. As a former chairman of Taiwan Salt Industrial Corporation and Taiwan legislator, he has won the 7th annual award of “Outstanding Golden Peak Award” in Taiwan.
“DPA spent a lot of effort on the choreography, colors, and costume design, which made people feel comfortable and pleased. Their devoutness to Buddha moved people deeply. Especially the creative dancing inspires humankind a lot, especially under the current economic depression,” Zheng said.
Zheng thought that DPA’s success comes from its creativity and how it moves people. He said that the show detailed many aspects of history and its development, and moreover, whether in costume design or other aspects, DPA deserves to be called the top of the world-class performing company.
Zheng praised the performance of DPA, saying, “From the start, every scene made people feel marvelous. They are full of import. The costumes are designed brightly and gorgeously.” He described the show in one phrase, “Full of creative surprises.”
Mrs. Zheng echoed her husband’s statements, and appreciated the show’s creativity and the graceful dancing. She also thought the performances of both male and female vocalists were fabulous. “The lyrics are not only gorgeous, but also full of significance,” she said.
