Witnessing a mother in pain and an infant struggling to make its way into the world, one doctor had to make a serious decision as to whether he would have to perform a risky caesarian section on his patient, or perhaps attempt to motion the breaching child so they could avoid any surgery at all.
As the mother laid as still as he could, the doctor used his hands to motion the moving infant into a safe enough position so they could travel through the mother safely as nurses and family stood by hushed so that the doctor could work as distraction-free as possible. According to the video, this decision to move the child so its feet were facing downwards was the only way to ensure a safe and natural childbirth in order to avoid surgery on the mother and any possible harm to the newborn.
After several painstaking minutes, the doctor was able to adjust the child perfectly and later in the day, the mother was able to meet her newborn son for the first time, making what could have possibly turned into a very dangerous procedure into the best day in that young mother’s life thanks to the gentle hands of a patient doctor.
