Deputy Mayor Appreciates Shen Yun’s ‘Touch With the Divinity’

“Shen Yun has always been something passionate to my heart for a long time, just to see it get to this level now is absolutely amazing and the history of it, with it founded in New York and just knowing that the oppression hasn’t stopped … The actual fullness of their touch with the divinity. I just hope that the people and the culture continue to grow and that people get a greater understanding that this is the only thing that is going to create peace and harmony in this world; is being able to express ourselves in ways and that no matter what we’ve gone through, to be free.

“So I’m just very grateful that these people have been able to do so in such a way and I hope that people understand the freedoms for all.”

“Their founder from New York needs a big pat on the back and that hopefully it’ll keep growing around the world.”

“From just a heavy week it [Shen Yun] relaxes me, it just makes me know that there’s a greater reason to do the things that we do here in this world and it just makes you know that you get to keep going and being the best you can do and stay in touch with what it is you’re connected with, which is obviously the creator, whichever way that is for each individual.”

“You’ve got to go see Shen Yun. Otherwise you’ve missed out on a real understanding of what is we are created for.”
