PASADENA, Calif.—The audience at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium was amazed as the Divine Performing Arts showcased another memorable night of elegant dancing and breathtaking musical performances.

Dr. Mao, a Chinese dentist from the Los Angeles area, said that the overall performance was “awesome and spectacular, just like it’s name.”

There were many dances of popular Chinese cultural tales and classical figures.

Dr. Maofound The Monkey King Triumphs to be the most memorable program.

“I grew up with the stories. We used to call him the Stone Monkey because he was born from stone.”
