SYDNEY—Stephanie Iacono, a high school student and also a dancer for 10 years, said she felt good after watching the Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company show in Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on Sunday, Feb. 20.

She was fascinated by the Recalling The Great Qin number, which explores the story of the Terracotta Warriors suddenly coming alive and sweeping the audience back in time when the first united China was born 2,000 years ago.

“The ones with the men are really good. The dancers are really good. Because I’m a dancer myself I really like it,” she said.

Stephanie also commended the female dancers.

“The ladies when they perform, they’re really colourful and costumes are very good, so it’s nice”.

She commented that the Shen Yun production clearly involves “a lot of work ... Formations and just the choreography altogether—With the orchestra as well, I’m noticing just everyone playing a part.”

Stephanie said she was invited to the show by her auntie, but has also seen advertisements on TV and newspapers.

Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company will perform its last two shows at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on Feb. 23. Next stop is Melbourne, March 1-6. For more information, visit ShenYunPerformingArts.org
