Crumbs will open its first gluten-free store in Greenwich Village this October.

The shop will serve the gluten-free versions of the same cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and pastries Crumbs is known for.

The new assortment is baked at a completely gluten- and peanut-free bakery, and delivered to the store daily.

Crumbs Gluten Free will also offer gluten-free breads, quiches, pies, and tarts.

“By adding gluten-free alternatives to our already distinctive assortment of gourmet cupcakes and desserts, we are truly opening our doors to a whole new group of consumers who may not have had the chance to taste our desserts before,” said Julian R. Geiger, president and CEO of Crumbs Bake Shop, Inc.

The store will be on 37 E. 8th St., between University and Broadway.
