With two sons already aged 12 and 7, Utah couple Jamie and Skyler Scott had tried unsuccessfully for years for Jamie to conceive again, but because she suffered from polycystic ovary syndrome, it had seemed all but impossible.

“It was really challenging to watch your wife go through that,” Skyler, 30, said. “Seeing something that means so much to Jamie and not having success with it and not seeing the results of all our praying, that was really, really hard to go through,” according to GoodInsideUs.

Then a visit to a fertility expert changed everything, and after intrauterine insemination, Jamie ended up with a positive result.

“When I first found out I was pregnant, I did just an at-home pregnancy test a couple days before I could officially get blood work done to see if the fertility procedure had worked,” Jamie, 30, said.

“I went through so many pregnancy tests, I was used to seeing a negative. So, after all these years of trying, it was just incredible to see those two pink lines.”

That joy soon went up a few notches when the couple found out there was not one but five little ones growing in her womb.

“I was absolutely in awe,” Jamie said. “I cried to see all of those babies on the screen. I was in awe.”

When her pregnancy had reached 29 weeks, on March 21 she delivered all five small but healthy babies via C-section at Dignity Health St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

“I feel so blessed when I look at each of their little faces, and each of their little souls I can feel,” she told azcentral.

The couple might feel overwhelmed at the huge changes in their lives, but can nevertheless appreciate all the love and support from admirers around the globe.

“The messages of love and hope that we’ve received from around the world have really helped strengthen us to get through this tough time of very, very high risk pregnancy,” she said.

Such a big family, but there is so much love to go around; they are sure to enjoy the added workload.
