YUANLIN, Taiwan—Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company presented its third show at Changhua Yuanlin Performance Hall, on April 17, in which the audience responded with enthusiastic applause for the curtain call.
Accompanied by other officials, Yunlin County Magistrate, Su Chih-feng, attended the show, and she said, “It’s really very wonderful to see the Shen Yun performance here.”
For celebrating Shen Yun touring in Taiwan in 2011, the Yunlin County Magistrate presented touching words.
“I have seen Shen Yun’s performances several times, as they were really very remarkable every year. Shen Yun always allows me to immerse in the performance and I am reluctant to leave. This definitely couldn’t be achieved by other dance groups.”
Ms. Su said she was “deeply touched by the programs. With good interaction between the performers and the audience, we felt that our hearts were closer.”
“My favorite program was the dance Herding On The Grasslands. That unconstrained dancing and music made us feel as if we were on the spot. Shen Yun fully displayed the Chinese culture and scenery with its superb performance,” she continued.
She praised that the fabulous performance of solo vocalists deeply thrilled her, and she said that she was also especially moved by the content of the lyrics and the live music.
Ms. Su said, “[I] love it very much. It is indeed very wonderful, and marvelous, as it completely exhibited the flavor of classical Chinese dance and was perfectly coordinated.”
