KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—On April 6, Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company presented the magnificence and grandeur of the classical Chinese arts at the Sun Yat-Sen Hall of National Sun Yat-Sen University in southern Taiwan. Pingtung County Deputy Magistrate Zhong Jiabin said, "I am glad to be able to appreciate Shen Yun’s premiere show in Kaohsiung.” He said that he admired the Shen Yun artists for their exquisite performance in Taiwan as part of their world tour, which has been highly acclaimed around the globe.

Zhong Jiabin praised Shen Yun for its impeccable demonstration of strength and beauty of classical Chinese dance, and enjoyed the solo vocalists. "With high-pitched soprano and magnetic baritone, the performance was outstanding. Those songs with the lyrics on the screen were really fascinating," he said.

He added, “The meaning behind the show is reminding the world's people of the fact that our life in this mundane world is transient, so we should pursue eternal value, and this is what each of us is supposed to do.”

Zhong Jiabin said, "Shen Yun has many young dancers, and the objective of their dedication to this kind of artistic work is to promote the spirit of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, which, I think, are universal values.”

"We hope that arts can sublimate our spirit, and all the people around the world are able to recognize this kind of value. I believe that after appreciating the Shen Yun show, the audience would admire these artists very much. So I sincerely salute them,” he concluded.
