Cooklyn is a recent addition to Prospect Heights, with chef Anthony Theocaropoulos at the helm.
Theocaropoulos grew up in an Italian-Greek family and has worked under Michael White, Masaharu Morimoto, and Mario Batali.
The seasonal American menu features Lamb Bun (a Greek take on the Asian pork bun); Octopus and Pork Belly with smoked potatoes, fava beans, watercress pesto; Venison Wontons with mortadella and whole grain mustard; and a Dry Aged New York Strip with bone marrow, pomme purée, and oyster mushrooms.
