YUANLIN, Taiwan—Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company pulled in another full house at its second performance at the Changhua County Yuanlin Performance Hall on the afternoon of April 17. Those in attendance found their hearts touched by the purity, compassion and beauty displayed through Shen Yun’s artistic performance.
Among the audience were Chen Meili and her husband, Lin Rongjin, president and general manager of Deguang Construction Company, who said he found Shen Yun harmonized elements that bring compassion and peacefulness to the mind and body.
Having undergone surgery only two days earlier, Mr. Lin insisted on coming to the Shen Yun performance as scheduled. He and his wife had bought 100 Shen Yun tickets and offered them to their employees in appreciation of their efforts and devotion.
At the end of the performance, Ms. Chen said happily, “Through music and dance, I came to realize the profound meaning of eliminating evil and promoting good, and further experience the beauty of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance.”
Mr. Lin added that Shen Yun really impressed him. A far cry from the general large-scale variety shows which he had seen in the past, he said.
“The integration of compassion and peacefulness into the performance sets Shen Yun apart from others, not to mention its elements that bring joy to the mind and body,” Mr. Lin said.
Fond of each of the Shen Yun programs, Mr. Lin said that the mental and physical joy brought by Shen Yun was felt not only during the show but also afterwards. He felt that the Shen Yun performances “can make our society more harmonious.”
