CANBERRA, Australia—After the March 29 Shen Yun Performing Arts show at the Canberra Theater Center, two students from mainland China said they were enchanted by the profound meaning and other-worldly beauty of the show.
Siya, an MBA student from Shenzhen of south coastal China, said she had never seen such an excellent show in her life, although she grew up in China. “The show is very rich with Chinese cultural elements, and very authentic. I’m so happy to watch a great show about China in Australia.” Siya said she was particularly impressed by the 3-D backdrop animation design and the colorful and elegant costumes.
Siya’s friend Cindy, a young girl from Hong Kong, said her first experience with Shen Yun was unforgettable. She said she loved the dances and the traditional Chinese culture they conveyed.
