One simple but powerful way to take your life to the next level is to consistently perform a weekly review. Rather than going through life in reaction mode, putting out fires wherever they pop up and wondering where your time went, you can employ the practice of reviewing the upcoming week’s to-do list and intentionally directing your time and energy in ways that best support your priorities.

A weekly review should require no more than an hour of your time, ideally during the preceding weekend. This should be an appointment that you commit to keeping with yourself on your calendar each and every week, no distractions.
