In 1938, Warner Bros. Studios planned to make a film entitled, “Four Daughters,” featuring two of their biggest stars, Bette Davis and Errol Flynn. Flynn turned down the part, and the film ultimately starred Priscilla Lane and newcomer John Garfield. However, Flynn and Davis were destined to star in a picture about sisters, simply entitled “The Sisters” (1938).
