Sunrise Woods Retreat is a quiet escape in Pigeon Forge, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Parkway yet close enough to enjoy all of the attractions in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

Location

Located on a quiet road in Pigeon Forge, Sunrise Woods Retreat is a welcome escape from the busyness of Parkway. It’s located only 3-minutes from fishing access on the Little Pigeon River, a 5-minute drive from downtown Pigeon Forge, and a 15-minute drive from Gatlinburg.
Once I got my bearings, I was easily navigating my way around. It’s a very central location with two direct routes to Parkway. You are only 10 minutes from a Super Walmart or Kroger to get your groceries for the week. There are ample places to dine as well in the area, so skip the cooking! Be sure not to miss the Applewood Farmhouse, it has the BEST fried chicken in town and is only 5 minutes from the cabin.

Accommodations

This cabin offers an open floor plan, it can sleep six but I think four is plenty with the open concept. As you enter the cabin you walk into an open living room with high ceilings and lots of natural light. It features a flat screen television, and you can watch cable or log into your favorite streaming channels on the Roku stick. In the cooler months it’s the perfect cozy spot for a warm fire and movie night.
