It’s clear walking into Leicester’s Victoria Park that Summer Sundae is an unusual festival. First, it’s tidy, with most people choosing to place their litter in one of the recycling bins scattering the site. Second, it’s extremely child-friendly, with plenty of little munchkins dashing around, most sporting mutli-coloured ear defenders.
Sadly, it’s also overcast and remains so for the rest of the day, breaking into full-blown rain during Seasick Steve’s headline set.
