Fannie Flagg has held numerous jobs over her eight decades, including author, actress, and comedian, among others. She’s perhaps best known for her Academy Award-nominated screenplay “Fried Green Tomatoes,” which was adapted from her most successful book of the same name.
After writing more than 10 novels beginning with 1981’s “Coming Attractions,” Flagg changes things up with “Something to Look Forward To,” her first collection of short stories.
