VIENNA, Austria—A group of 13 Bulgarians of various ages and occupations traveled to the Austrian capital with one aim, to see the spectacular Shen Yun Performing Arts show on April 5. All of them gave glowing reviews of the performance and wished for the show to come to Bulgaria next year.

Ms. Velinova works as a psychologist in a governmental institution in Bulgaria. She was very touched by the performance Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution. In the vignette, a father living in China is persecuted by the government for practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual practice. This performance demonstrated an ancient Chinese belief that good is rewarded and evil is punished, even if not in this lifetime.

Her teenage daughter said she was overjoyed by the vivid program, Dance of Yi, which features dancers with colorful billowing rainbow dresses, which reflects the exuberance of the Yi culture. She said she liked very much the combination of colors of the costumes that flowed with the dancer’s movements.
