SAN JOSÉ, Calif.—Shen Yun Performing Arts continued its West Coast summer tour arriving in San José, the capital of Silicon Valley, after two successful shows in Sacramento. The world’s premier display of classical Chinese dance and singing wowed the crowds at the San José Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday night.

Many in the audience had seen the show before and decided to come back for more. That was the case for Heinz Wegener, a retired operations manager for a large publishing company which manufactures school books.

“I was here last time they (Shen Yun) were here ... We enjoyed it so much so we came back.” He heard about the show from his Chinese neighbor.

“I love it. It is very nice,” Mr. Wegener exclaimed when asked what he thought of the performance.

Many workers in Silicon Valley are known for their dedication to work, helping to push forward the cutting edge of innovation that the area is famous for. Wednesday’s show left many relaxed and in a pleasant mood, including Mr. Wegener.

The show is “very colorful, very coordinated, soft music, ... very enjoyable,” Mr. Wegener remarked in a laid back tone.
