U.S. Rep. Tiberi: It Is Central Ohio’s ‘great honor’ to Host Shen Yun

COLUMBUS, Ohio—The celebrated Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company brought its show to the Ohio Theatre in Columbus on March 8. An Ohio congressman and the Columbus City Council sent a congratulatory letter and a certificate of honor and recognition, respectively, to the organizers welcoming Shen Yun to Ohio.

The letters praise highly Shen Yun’s excellent contribution to the community and its outstanding artistic achievements and wish Shen Yun’s 2009 World Tour great success.

U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Tiberi of Ohio’s 12th Congressional District wrote a letter welcoming Shen Yun Performing Arts’ arrival. In his letter he expresses that it is his pleasure and privilege to have the opportunity to recognize Shen Yun’s 2009 World Tour.

He wrote, “It is a great honor for Central Ohio to host the Divine Performing Arts World tour as it makes it’s debut performance in Columbus, Ohio on March 8, 2009. This innovative performance is a unique opportunity for central Ohioans to experience the beauty and history of traditional Chinese culture. I am pleased this world-class show has chosen to share their talent and gifts with members of our community.

Congratulations and best wishes for a spectacular show and celebration of the Chinese New Year!”

In addition, the Columbus City Council issued a certificate of honor and recognition of Shen Yun and expressed that the Council very much welcomes Shen Yun Performing Arts to Columbus.
