KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Mr. Troy Nash was so excited that Shen Yun Performing Arts was coming to Kansas City that he made sure to share it with his friends.

“I invited 20 of my closest friends to come see the show,” he said. “People from as far away as Marshall, Missouri travelled to see the show.

“My friends love it, they were clapping and smiling the whole time.”

Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company returned to Missouri to grace Kansas City’s Music Hall stage, Wednesday, April 13.

Mr. Nash, Vice President and Director of Public Sector Consulting at Zimmer Real Estate Services, is a former Kansas City, Missouri City Council member. Mr. Nash was visibly moved after seeing the New York-based show for the first time.

“This show is fantastic!” he exclaimed. “The color, the excitement, it’s a must-see show.”

The classical and folk dance pieces transport audiences to settings ranging from the Himalayas to lush, tropical regions. The animated backdrops set the stage in deep forests and celestial paradises, and in ancient and modern realms.

Mr. Nash was thoroughly impressed by “the backgrounds, the storyline, the costumes, the color.”

Mr. Nash had a few words for those who have not taken in Shen Yun yet. “I’d recommend Shen Yun to everyone. This show is fantastic! It’s a must-see show!”
