Romanian Meat Pie (Placinta cu Carne)

- 2 1/4 cups (10 ounces) all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup lukewarm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 medium egg
- 1 (1/4-ounce) packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable or sunflower oil, for frying
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 1/4 pounds ground beef
- 12 ounces mushrooms, roughly sliced
- 7 ounces tomato puree (passata)
- 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 bunch fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
