Oscar de la Renta has died at age 82.

The famous fashion designer’s death hasn’t been detailed as of yet.

A family member confirmed the news with ABC.

De la Renta has designed scores of famous dresses, most recently the one for Amal Alamuddin, who recently married George Clooney.

Jackie Kennedy, Cameron Diaz, and Oprah Winfrey were among other women who wore his dresses.

De la Renta was born in the Dominican Republic.

He later moved to Spain to study painting before moving to Paris, then New York City.

Fans reacted to the news, with RIP Oscar de la Renta trending on Twitter.

“RIP Oscar de la Renta, you made a huge impact to the fashion community. It was amazing seeing a Dominican man make it so far,” said one.

“RIP Oscar de la Renta...the fashion industry just lost a legend...” said another.
