Children in London can now go to bed, after making sure through NORAD Santa Tracker that Santa Claus has passed by their city to deliver their presents at 6:55 p.m. EST.
For more than half a century, NORAD, the joint U.S. and Canadian military center in charge of monitoring and defending North American air space, and its predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD), have been tracking Santa’s Christmas flight.
This year, NORAD is tracking Santa with radar, satellites, Santa Cams, and even fighter jets.
Many children around the world await Santa’s arrival before they sleep.
“My daughter is hilarious. she already has her pajamas on and watching the NORAD santa tracker,” tweeted @Stmfuller.
Santa’s approximate route around the globe includes the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, continental Asia, Africa, Western Europe, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, and South America.
