The annual Kids Food Festival is taking place on March 1 and 2 at Bryant Park in Manhattan.

The festival is friendly to children who are between the ages of six months and 12 years old.

Through a variety of events and samples, the aim is to empower kids to make better food choices.

Activities include a “Balanced Plate Scavenger Hunt,” where kids will search for the ingredients for their perfect meal. Chefs will lead cooking classes at the James Beard Foundation Future Foodies Pavilion.
