A law enforcement career can put significant strain on a family’s life. Sometimes, it has to do with unpredictable schedules, while at other times, it could be that the child worries about whether their parent is on a dangerous call. However, just like any other family in the world, they don’t miss any opportunity to hold on to their near and dear ones whenever they can, and this heartwarming video proves just that.
A video of a toddler not wanting to say goodbye to his dad, an Illinois State Police officer, posted on the department Facebook’s page has tugged social media users’ hearts. While the family is not identified by the department, the little guy just can’t bear to see his dad go and runs out on the wet driveway begging for “one more kiss.” Since its posting in June, the video has racked up almost 50,000 reactions and lots of comments from users.
