CANBERRA—The last Shen Yun Performing Arts show at the Canberra Theatre concluded the company’s leg in Australia as part of its 2011 World Tour with three curtain calls and an encore from Guan Guimin, one of China’s most celebrated tenors.

Among the audience was European Embassy diplomat Yves Randriambololona and daughter Caroline.

“This is the first time I have really seen something like this, I was very, very amazed, its really very, very nice,” he said adding that he thought the music was great.

Thirteen year-old daughter Caroline also enjoyed the show “It was really good and I feel very well about it.” She added that she really liked the dances in the show and would like to be a dancer herself.

Would her father support his daughter applying to join Shen Yun performing Arts?

“Yes absolutely,” said Mr Randriambololona.
