TAINAN, Taiwan—The evening show of the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) in the Performance Hall, Tainan Municipal Cultural Center, on Feb. 22, attracted many new fans. The Performance Hall was crowded with people. Audience members paid close attention to the show, some were smiling and some were still wiping away their tears.

Mr. Shih, chairman of a real estate company of Tainan and a fan of DPA, is seeing the show for the second time.

He said, from the viewpoint of a real estate representative, that the DPA show could encourage and inspire people suffering under the current financial crisis.

He reminded people that like the DPA artists, one should do a trustworthy job and be down-to-earth. Employees should ask themselves first about their performances, before asking their bosses to raise their salary.

Mr. Shih recalled: “I remember that DPA performed three shows [four shows, in fact] in Tainan last year. But this year, there will be six, therefore, their actual capability is more important.”

Mr. Shih praised the show profusely. He said that many people in Taiwan believed in Buddhism. The programs reminded people to do good deeds and positive things, so they may be blessed by Buddha.
