NEW YORK—It was like a child’s dream come true. Thousands of toys, balloons, desserts, magicians, musicians, face-painting, animals, and a giant piano were all in one place at the 22nd annual Bunny Hop event at FAO Schwartz Fifth Avenue on March 5.

The event, hosted by The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) pledged to raise $2 million for the Pediatric Family Housing Endowment, which will be used to assist families with the cost of overnight stays associated with their cancer treatment at MSKCC’s Pediatrics Department.

The venue was filled with color, energy, and children’s laughter. It all felt magical, other than the few children crying when they had to leave.
